NEW YORK -- Javier Castellano, the nation’s leading money-winning jockey, rode three winners Wednesday at Belmont Park, including Wild About Harry in the $77,000 allowance feature.
Castellano, with more than $18 million in purse earnings this season, guided Wild About Harry to a head victory over Touch of Bling in the race for fillies and mares on the turf.
The 3-year-old trained by Linda Rice earned her third win in the last four starts. The time was 1:09.12 for the six furlongs on the firm course.
Wild About Harry paid $12.60, $6 and $2.40.
Touch of Bling, a 33-1 outsider, returned $20 and $4.90.
Animal Appeal set the pace as the 1-5 favorite and settled for third. She paid $2.10 to show.
