Giants selected Auburn OT Brandon Mosley with the No. 131 overall pick in the 2012 draft.
A terrific athlete at 6-foot-6, 314 with prototypical 34-inch arms, Mosley played defensive end and tight end at JUCO (not offensive line) before transferring to Auburn for his final two seasons of eligibility. He made 24 starts at Auburn, 23 of them at right tackle. Mosley is another under-the-radar but high-value pick by GM Jerry Reese, who is once again dominating the draft.

Giants agreed to terms with No. 131 overall pick OT Brandon Mosley on a four-year contract.
Mosley started at right tackle for Auburn the past two years after converting from defensive end and tight end. GM Jerry Reese believes Mosley is a big, tough, smart, old-school lineman in the mold of David Diehl. Mosley is expected to compete for the starting right tackle job in training camp.

Giants placed rookie OT Brandon Mosley (ankle) on injured reserve, ending his season.
The 131st pick in the draft, Mosley will take a “redshirt” for his rookie season. Long term, the Giants believe he has tools to be a starting right tackle.

Reserve Giants OG Brandon Mosley (broken hand) is undergoing surgery.
The second-year pro made 13 appearances this season, including one start. He totaled 59 snaps. Mosley missed his entire rookie year with an ankle injury. The 2012 fourth-rounder will be on the roster bubble next summer.

Coach Tom Coughlin confirmed Brandon Mosley will get the first shot at winning the right guard job vacated by recently-retired Chris Snee.
Snee announced his retirement Monday. Mosley took the majority of the first-team reps at right guard during the spring while Snee nursed elbow and hip injuries. The third-year lineman is a big boy at 6'5/318 but doesn’t have much NFL experience, having played just 59 snaps last year. Veteran John Jerry is Mosley’s chief competition. Eric Herman and rookie Weston Richburg are also in the mix.

The Newark Star-Ledger views OG Brandon Mosley as the favorite to start at right guard for the Giants.
With Chris Snee (elbow) unable to make it through non-contact spring practices and John Jerry recovering from an offseason knee scope, Mosley took almost all the first-team snaps during OTAs and minicamp. Despite the reps, Mosley’s spot is anything but secure. Jerry is finally healthy enough to push Mosley, and Snee will almost certainly be given the nod if he is able to get back on the field.

Brandon Mosley is expected to compete for the Giants’ starting right guard job.
Mosley took most of the first-team reps in the spring while Chris Snee recovered from offseason surgery. Mosley was the 131st pick in the 2012 draft and is a plus athlete after playing defensive end and tight end at JUCO before transferring to Auburn. Mosley handled himself well across 59 snaps last season.

Giants coach Tom Coughlin said, “We’ll see,” when asked who will start at right guard Week 1.
Brandon Mosley (back) has been limited in practice this week, but would likely get the start if he is ready to go. John Jerry could also fill the role. No matter who starts, the Giants’ interior line is set to struggle against Ndamukong Suh and the Lions.
