Bedrosian signed a minor league contract with the Phillies last December and failed to make it back to the majors this season. The 30-year-old veteran right-hander has made 311 relief appearances in the majors since 2014.

Bedrosian was signed to a minor league deal after posting a 5.04 ERA and 1.76 WHIP over 25 innings with three different clubs -- one of them the Phillies. He’s organizational depth, but will need to be added to the 40-man roster to pitch for Philadelphia in 2022.

The former Angels closer registered a horrifying 11.12 ERA and 2.82 WHIP over 5 2/3 innings with the Reds earlier this season. He’ll work in a middle relief role for the A’s.
