Patriots selected Wyoming LB Cassh Maluia with the No. 204 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.
An All-Mountain West Conference finalist in 2019, Maluia (5'11/231) started in all 13 contests as a true senior, totaling 61 tackles, seven tackles for loss, and two interceptions in his final year at Wyoming. He’s likely being eyed as a core special teams player in New England given his experience on that unit. Maluia is unsurprisingly another versatile but developing late-round project for coach Bill Belichick to mold long-term.
