Charles Bassey hit 7-of-12 shots for 17 points, nine rebounds and four steals in 26 minutes of Wednesday’s 86-82 Summer League win over the Jazz.
This game had about a quarter of the intrigue the Thunder-Grizzlies game had earlier in the night, but Bassey looked great and had a dunk that should be featured in highlight reels. Trevelin Queen added 15 points, 3-pointer and two steals, Myles Powell had 13 points, four steals and three triples in just 17 minutes, Charlie Brown Jr. added 12 points and two steals in 19 minutes, and Cassius Winston had 11 points on 2-of-10 shooting in a start. Bassey is worth keeping an eye on but this SL lineup doesn’t offer much fantasy intrigue.

  • NBA Point Guard #5
Cassius Winston is inactive for Tuesday’s game against the Heat.
Winston has only played in two games this month and holds no weight in fantasy hoops. Leave him on the waivers.

  • WAS Power Forward #16
Anthony Gill (right calf strain) and Cassius Winston (left hamstring strain) have been ruled out for Friday’s game against the Grizzlies.
Neither Gill nor Winston offers anything as far as fantasy is concerned. And both should be considered to be out indefinitely until the Wizards announce otherwise.

  • NBA Point Guard #5
Cassius Winston (left hamstring strain) will not play in Monday’s game against the Nets.
Winston has yet to appear in a game this season, and is without a concrete timeline for return. Even when healthy, he offers nothing as far as fantasy value is concerned.

  • NBA Point Guard #5
Cassius Winston (left hamstring strain) has been ruled out of Friday’s game vs. the Pacers.
This is the second straight game Winston has missed due to the hamstring issue. He belongs on the waiver wire in all fantasy formats.

  • NBA Point Guard #5
Cassius Winston (left hamstring strain) will not suit up for Wednesday’s game vs. Toronto.
Even if he were available, there would be no guarantee he’d actually step foot on the floor. Leave him on the wire.

  • NBA Point Guard #5
Cassius Winston has signed another two-way contract with the Wizards.
Winston was on a two-way deal with Washington last season, making 22 brief appearances. He’s miles off the fantasy radar.

  • NBA Point Guard #5
Cassius Winston filled in for the injured Raul Neto for Tuesday’s loss to the Hornets, accounting for three points (1-of-3 FGs), two steals and one 3-pointer in 11 minutes.
Winston, who did not play in Monday’s win over the Pacers, vaulted into the rotation due to the absence of Raul Neto. He won’t be in the rotation when Neto’s healthy, so there’s no need to consider picking up the rookie point guard.

  • NBA Point Guard #5
Cassius Winston has been transferred to the Erie BayHawks, the Wizards announced on Saturday.
Winston, who wasn’t in the Wizards rotation on most nights, will get some valuable game experience in the G-League bubble in Orlando. With the Wizards not sending their affiliate to Florida, the rookie point guard will be playing with the Erie BayHawks.

  • NBA Point Guard #19
Raul Neto (left groin strain) has been ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Nets.
Neto played through the groin issue Wednesday night, but he re-aggravated the injury during Saturday’s practice. With Ish Smith (health and safety protocols) set to make his return on Sunday, Neto’s absence will be accounted for. However, with Smith having gone two-plus weeks without playing there may be a couple minutes available to rookie Cassius Winston.
