Chas Henry appears to have won Philly’s punter job, although the Billy Cundiff situation in Washington is a reminder that roster spots aren’t locked in until the real games begin. McBriar, 33, struggled with the Cowboys last year.

As an undrafted rookie last season, incumbent Chas Henry was among the worst punters in the league. But it’s unlikely that a 38-year-old Maynard would be able to win the job after managing just 40.5 gross yards per punt for the Browns last season. The Eagles also had free agent punters Mat McBriar, Chris Bryan and Jason Baker in on Monday.

The Eagles’ punter in 2011, Henry spent just three games on the active roster in 2012. Henry will push incumbent Michael Koenen in camp, but is unlikely to take his job.
