Nunn

Nunn made 14 appearances at Double-A Mississippi before being released by the Braves earlier this season. The 30-year-old lefty will give the Mariners some minor-league pitching depth moving forward.

The 29-year-old southpaw posted a 5.33 ERA, 1.66 WHIP and 66/24 K/BB ratio over 50 2/3 innings between Double-A Tulsa and Triple-A Oklahoma City in 2019. He’ll need to have an unbelievable spring training to have any shot at cracking the Opening Day bullpen.

Nunn was released from Rangers camp in late March, after signing a minor league deal with the club in late January. The 28-year-old left-hander will function as organizational relief depth for Los Angeles.

Nunn inked a minor league deal with Texas in late January after spending the 2018 season between the Astros’ minor league system and the independent St. Paul Saints. The 28-year-old may be forced to head back to indy ball to continue his baseball career.

Nunn, 28, recently caused a bit of a stir on social media when clips of his bullpen sessions showed him hitting the upper-90s. The southpaw split last season between independent ball and the Astros minor league system.
