Packers signed WR Mecole Hardman to their practice squad.
Hardman was waived at last cuts but decided that staying with the Packers made sense. The 27-year-old will likely be elevated in Week 1 if Jayden Reed’s injury is as serious as it seems. Also joining the Packers practice squad are: QB Clayton Tune, RB Israel Abanikanda, DL Deslin Alexandre, DB Johnathan Baldwin, T Brant Banks, DL James Ester, LB Jamon Johnson, K Mark McNamee, DL Arron Mosby, WR Isaiah Neyor, WR Will Sheppard, DB Jaylin Simpson, and LB Kristian Welch.
  • FA Kicker #3
    49ers released K Greg Joseph.
A journeyman kicker who spent time with three different teams last season, Joseph is now in search of a new home. Joseph appeared in just eight games in 2024, attempting 20 field goals and converting 16 of them. He’s a lifetime 82.3 percent kicker on his field goal attempts and is 17-for-30 in his career on distances of 50-plus yards. With plenty of teams out there who could use an upgrade at the position, it wouldn’t be surprising if Joseph joined another camp in the coming days in hopes of landing on a 53-man roster. In addition to Joseph, the 49ers also let go CB Tre Avery, WR Isaiah Neyor, QB Tanner Mordecai, and TE Mason Pline.
  • SF Wide Receiver #5
    49ers signed WR Isaiah Neyor.
The physical optics of Neyor’s (6’4/218) draft profile are far more intriguing than his college production. A true size/speed threat (4.40 40-yard dash) who gives the appearance of an elite outside receiver, Neyor never fully put things together during his five college seasons. His most productive season (44-878-12) came as a junior with Wyoming in 2021, but in 2022, Neyor suffered a torn ACL after transferring to Texas and missed the entire season as a result. He played in only one game for the Longhorns in 2023 and transferred to Nebraska for his final season, where he caught 34 passes for 455 yards and five touchdowns. One of the best overall athletes in this year’s class (9.90 RAS), the flashes Neyor showed in 2021 are what coaches will attempt to tap into. His elite size and speed, coupled with a good catch radius, make him an intriguing prospect, but Neyor will need to prove he can match the physicality of the NFL game if he hopes to make a push for a spot on the 53-man roster.
  • GB Wide Receiver #80
Texas redshirt freshman WR Isaiah Neyor will miss the 2022 season after tearing his ACL last week.
Neyor (6'3/210) transferred to Texas at the end of last season after spending two years at Wyoming. Known for being an elite deep threat, Neyor totaled 44 receptions for 878 yards and 12 touchdowns last season and has averaged 21.7 yards per reception for his career. The loss of Neyor is a tough blow for the Longhorns, who recently lost wide receiver Agiye Hall to an indefinite suspension following an arrest.

  • GB Wide Receiver #80
Former Wyoming redshirt freshman WR Isaiah Neyor has committed to Texas after previously committing to Tennessee.
Neyor (6'3"/210) announced his commitment to Tennessee less than two weeks ago, but has now announced that he will instead be playing ball at Texas in 2022. Last season at Wyoming, Neyor proved to be one of the best deep threats in the nation, catching 44 passes for 878 yards and 12 touchdowns while averaging 20.0 yards per reception. His 82 last season were a team-high, as were the rest of his receiving numbers, as his departure now leaves a massive hole in Wyoming’s receiving corps heading into 2022. He will be a welcomed addition to Texas next season, as wide receiver Xavier Worthy was the only Longhorn to surpass 377 receiving yards in 2021, as he finished with a line of 62-918-12 for the rebuilding program.

  • GB Wide Receiver #80
Former Wyoming redshirt freshman WR Isaiah Neyor will transfer to Tennessee.
The receiving core just got much better as they get the Cowboys leading receiver in 2021. Neyor (6'3/210) is going to be a valuable deep threat for quarterback Hendon Hooker who will return and make the Volunteers a competitor in the SEC.

  • GB Wide Receiver #80
Wyoming redshirt freshman WR Isaiah Neyor has entered the transfer portal.
Neyor (6'3/210) and fellow quarterback Levi Williams both entered the transfer portal a day after playing key roles in Wyoming’s 52-38 bowl win over Kent State. Neyor caught five passes for 87 yards and one touchdown in the bowl win and finished his 2021 season with 44 receptions for 878 yards and 12 touchdowns while averaging 20.0 yards per reception. Neyor shared when announcing his intent to transfer that he had already received offers from Nevada and Utah State.

  • GB Wide Receiver #80
Wyoming redshirt freshman WR Isaiah Neyor caught five passes for 87 yards and one touchdown in Tuesday’s 52-38 win over Kent State.
In a game that featured only nine completed passes, Neyor (6'3/210) stood out above all Cowboys receivers, leading them in receiving while also catching a deep 42-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Levi Williams late in the second quarter. Neyor has enjoyed a breakout campaign in 2021, as his season finishes with 44 receptions for 878 yards and 12 touchdowns while averaging a blistering 20.0 yards per reception.

  • GB Wide Receiver #80
Wyoming redshirt freshman WR Isaiah Neyor caught three passes for 78 yards and one touchdown in Saturday’s 38-14 loss to Hawaii.
Neyor (6'3/210) led the Cowboys in receiving in this one, with his longest catch of the day coming on a 34-yard reception in the second quarter to eventually setup a rushing touchdown by Titus Swen. Neyor would get into the end zone as well, catching a 30-yard touchdown from quarterback Levi Williams in the third quarter, which would mark Wyoming’s final touchdown of the day, but Neyor’s fifth consecutive game with a touchdown. The redshirt freshman has now caught 39 passes on the season for 791 yards and 11 touchdowns, and will likely have one more game to close out his 2021 season, with Wyoming being bowl eligible at 6-6.
