Aggies -- finally -- lose coordinator to NFL

It’s been rumored for about a week now but today it became official -- Texas A&M has lost their offensive coordinator to the NFL.

The St. Louis Rams, by way of our redheaded stepsisters (twice-removed) at PFT, have hired Nolan Cromwell to coach their wide receivers.

Cromwell spent the past two seasons as the Aggies’ coordinator, but had spent his entire coaching career at the NFL level prior to his stint in College Station.

Head coach Mike Sherman has been his own play-caller during his time with the Aggies, and it’s been reported that he will not fill the hole left by Cromwell’s departure.

There is a chance, however, that he brings in former Louisville and Tulsa head coach Steve Kragthorpe to coach wide receivers.
