BILL SNYDER RETURNING TO KANSAS STATE
Bill Snyder, the man who coached Kansas State for 17 seasons and turned the Wildcats from perennial doormats to a national power, will return to coach the Wildcats again.The Kansas City Star is reporting that Snyder will sign a five-year contract worth $1.8 million per season to return to the school. A formal announcement is planned for Monday morning.Snyder will be in the unusual position of coaching in a stadium that’s named for him.The 69-year-old Snyder retired in November 2005. His replacement, Ron Prince, was fired this month. Prince finished his tenure at Kansas State with a 17-20 record.
