Texas A&M running back Cyrus Gray could be questionable for the Aggies’ game against Texas this Thursday. Gray suffered a bruised shoulder during yesterday’s 61-7 rout over Kansas and will be evaluated this week.
“I don’t have a final analysis on him yet,” head coach Mike Sherman said after the game.
Gray was expected to pick up the slack left from the injured Christine Michael, who sustained a season-ending ACL tear two weeks ago against Oklahoma. Sophomore Ben Malena and freshman Will Randolph finished yesterday’s game against the Jayhawks, but depth at RB for A&M is now becoming a serious issue.
Gray has 1045 yards and 12 touchdowns on the season and nearly had 100 yards on just nine carries yesterday.
