Sounds like Denzel Nkemdiche partied a little too hard on his 21st birthday.
According to the Clarion-Ledger’s Hugh Kellenberger, Nkemdiche was arrested and charged with disturbing the peace, disorderly conduct and failure to comply with a police officer at an off-campus apartment complex in Oxford Saturday night. All three chargers are misdemeanors.
Nkemdiche was banged up in 2013 and only tallied 35 tackles, though as a redshirt freshman in 2012 he racked up 82 tackles (13 for a loss) with three interceptions, four forced fumbles and three sacks. His brother, Robert, was the No. 1 overall player in the recruiting class of 2013.
Update: Nkemdiche has been suspended, along with fellow Ole Miss linebacker Sedarius Bryant. Bryant was arrested for public drunk and disturbing the peace.
