It took Penn State a couple of weeks of intense public pressure before the statue of former Penn State coach Joe Paterno outside of Beaver Stadium was finally removed.
Now that it’s gone, the location of the 7-foot, 900-pound bronze version of the longtime coach has reportedly been a back-and-forth matter too. The Philadelphia Inquirer reports the statue has been moved again, this time from one undisclosed location to another “in part to keep the public from knowing its current resting spot.”
Penn State wouldn’t confirm the statue’s location or fate.
