    ESPN Redskins reporter John Keim believes Dashaun Phillips “might have nudged ahead” of third-rounder Kendall Fuller in the slot-corner battle.
    Fuller was fully expected to win the job after reporting healthy to camp, but the third-year UDFA out of Tarleton State has put on a show. Keim said Phillips “might be the most surprising player from spring workouts on.” With Josh Norman and Bashaud Breeland starting on the boundaries, the Redskins project to have a much improved corner group this season.
