Vikings signed DT David Parry, formerly of the Saints.
A 2015 fifth-round pick of the Colts, Parry started all 32 games his first two seasons before off-field issues and an ankle injury sabotaged his 2017. He’s a solid flier for the Vikings behind Linval Joseph and Sheldon Richardson.

The Colts are expected to scale back second-year NT David Parry’s snaps.
A starter as a fifth-round rookie last season, Parry got off to a hot start before fading down the stretch, perhaps in part because the Colts were asking too much of him. The Indy Star names Hassan Ridgeway (6'3/303), T.Y. McGill (6'0/299), and Zach Kerr (6'1/326) as interior linemen who could ease Parry’s workload.

Colts NT David Parry has been charged with two felonies and a misdemeanor from his arrest in Scottsdale, Arizona last month.
Parry was charged with theft of a means of transportation and resisting arrest with physical force, which are both felonies. He was also charged for misdemeanor assault. The auto theft is considered a Class 3 felony, which in punishable by up to seven years in prison. Parry will be arraigned on Friday. None of this bodes well for Parry, who has started every game for the Colts since arriving as a fifth-round pick in 2015.

Colts NT David Parry was arrested Saturday in Scottsdale, Arizona on suspicion of driving under the influence, auto theft, robbery, criminal damage, and resisting arrest.
After hitching a ride on a “transportation cart” from a downtown bar, Parry allegedly hit the driver in the head, stole the cart, and crashed it into a gate. A 2015 fifth-rounder, Parry has been a liability in 32 starts to open his career. Under new front office, his roster spot may not be secure if these charges prove to be well-founded. He will almost certainly face league discipline.

Colts NT David Parry has reached a plea deal in his drunk driving case.
He has avoided jail time, and will escape with probation. Parry pled guilty to misdemeanor disorderly conduct and felony “attempt to commit unlawful means of transportation.” Parry drunkenly jacked a “transportation cart.” He’s facing suspension, but will likely keep his roster spot.

ESPN Colts reporter Mike Wells believes NT David Parry is on the roster bubble.
A fifth-round pick in 2015, Parry has started every game since entering the league, but he struggled against the run both seasons. It also does not help he was arrested for drunkenly stealing a “transportation cart” in February. With Johnathan Hankins in the fold, Parry could be on the outside looking in at final cuts.

Colts signed No. 151 overall pick DT David Parry to a four-year contract.
A fifth-round pick, Parry is solid defensive line depth for the Colts. He had 12.5 TFLs and 4.5 sacks over his final two seasons at Stanford. Parry projects as a high-end rotational nose tackle.

Colts rookie NT David Parry is pushing Josh Chapman for the starting job.
Chapman started the second preseason game, but Parry saw early snaps with the ones while Chapman played deep into the second half. Chapman held his own last season, but the Colts struggled as a team to stop the run, especially in their 45-7 playoff shellacking at the hands of the Patriots. A fifth-round pick out of Stanford, perhaps the Colts view Parry as a higher-upside option.

Colts selected Stanford DT David Parry with the No. 151 overall pick in the 2015 NFL draft.
Parry (6'1/308) played nose tackle for the Cardinal, amassing 12.5 tackles for loss and 4.5 sacks across his final two seasons. He was an honorable mention All-Pac 12 pick as a senior. Parry isn’t much of an athlete (5.38 forty, 29-inch vertical), but has power in his hands and strength in the upper body, pumping 34 reps on the bench. A former walk-on, Parry is an overachiever with surprising pocket-pushing ability and obvious run-stopping skills. He projects as a high-end rotational nose tackle in the pros.

In-house reporter Kevin Bowen expects the Colts to upgrade on NT David Parry.
Parry started all 16 games as a rookie, but graded as one of the worst defensive tackles in the league. His struggles were a large part of Indy’s bottom-ten run defense. The Colts should bring in heavy 2016 competition for Parry.
