Bills promoted WR Ed Eagan from the practice squad.
The Bills’ website claims Eagan is “in the mold of Julian Edelman.” It’s correct that Eagan is a slot receiver, one who set 10 school records at small-school Northwestern State. Even with the Bills’ injury ruins at receiver, Eagan is more likely to feature on special teams than offense.

Cowboys signed Northwestern State WR Ed Eagan.
Eagan (5'11/183) caught Dallas’ eye at the Senior Bowl, where he was a last-minute addition and they were his coaches. Prior to that, Eagan left Northwestern State with 10 school records, including career receptions (177) and receiving yards (2,228). He boasts a 4.43 forty, but has some stiffness in the hips that manifests in subpar acceleration out of breaks. Eagan’s clearest path to the final roster is to impersonate Cole Beasley and excel as a returner and special team maven.

Giants signed WR Ed Eagan from their practice squad.
The Giants are desperately thin at receiver following season-ending injuries to Odell Beckham and Brandon Marshall as well as an ankle issue for Sterling Shepard, but it is unlikely Eagan contributes much on offense. He could help out as a returner.
