Dodgers signed RHP Edubray Ramos to a minor league contract and invited him to spring training.
Ramos was one of the best minor league free agents available after being dropped by the Phillies at the end of the season. The 27-year-old missed most of last season with shoulder problems, but he has a 3.71 ERA and a 168/61 K/BB ratio in 155 1/3 innings as a big leaguer. He’ll almost certainly open up in Triple-A, but he could prove useful if healthy.
