Terry

Terry was waived by the Kings after spending training camp with them in October, and he has been playing with the Kings’ G-League affiliate in Stockton ever since. Terry will give the Suns an able body, but he is not expected to produce anything in the way of fantasy value.

He hasn’t played in the NBA in a couple of years now and this finalizes Sacramento’s roster.

Terry, who last played in an NBA regular season game during the 2018-19 season, earned his training camp deal by playing well for the Kings in Summer League. He’ll be facing long odds to make the Kings roster out of training camp, but it’s worth noting that they also acquired his G League rights from the Agua Caliente Clippers. So if Terry isn’t with Sacramento to begin the season, he’ll most likely be with their affiliate in Stockton.

He played in two games for the Suns this year before his 10-day contract expired on Feb. 7, and will not get a chance to log a few more games for the Heat.

This is the third team that Terry has been under contract with this season, as he was waived by both the Nuggets and Cavaliers just before the start of the season in October. He’s appeared in 27 games for the Sioux Falls Skyforce of the G-League this season, averaging 10.1 points, 6.7 rebounds and 1.6 blocked shots in 23.9 minutes per game.

Terry signed a training camp deal in early August after playing well in Summer League action, but never had a realistic shot to crack the Nuggets final 15-man rotation.
