    Chargers waived EDGE Emeke Egbule.
The team also cut tight end Sage Surratt and defensive end Andrew Brown. A sith-round pick in 2019, Egbule has seen most of his run on special teams while in LA. He only appeared in three games last year, totaling two combined tackles with a QB hit in the process.

Chargers signed sixth-round LB Emeke Egbule to a four-year contract.
The Bolts have now reached deals with four of their seven draft picks. First-round DT Jerry Tillery, second-round S Nasir Adderley and third-round OT Trey Pipkins remain unsigned.

Chargers selected Houston LB Emeke Egbule with the No. 200 overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft.
Egbule (6’2/245) was a 2 ½-year starter in the Cougars’ linebacker corps, tallying 13 career tackles for loss with five sacks and two picks. Egbule helped himself in Indy by measuring in with long arms (33") and running 4.65 with a 33-inch vertical. Physical versus the run and able to drop into coverage – he led all American Conference linebackers with seven pass breakups last year – Egbule projects as an early-career special teamer who could compete for a starting job after some seasoning.
