49ers DL Ziggy Ansah (torn bicep) was placed on season-ending injured reserve.
Coach Kyle Shanahan confirmed as much after Ansah exited following 21 snaps on Sunday night. Ansah finishes with just two games with the Niners under his belt, suffering the same fate as Nick Bosa (torn ACL) and numerous others for a San Francisco front-seven that’s been ravaged by injuries this year.

49ers DL Ziggy Ansah (arm) won’t return for Week 4 against the Eagles.
Ansah played on 21 snaps in Week 3 but did not record a tackle or any other statistic. Still, for a 49ers front-seven that has been ravaged by injuries this year, the loss of Ansah will be felt. The team is already without Solomon Thomas and Nick Bosa on IR with knee injuries.

49ers signed DE Ziggy Ansah to a one-year contract.
It took three workouts, but Fowler reports the team will (finally) finalize a one-year deal with the 31-year-old veteran. One can only assume the litany of injuries to Nick Bosa (torn ACL), Solomon Thomas (knee), and Dee Ford on Sunday pressed the issue, getting Ansah in-house immediately. He’s totaled 50.5 career sacks across seven seasons.

DL Ziggy Ansah is expected to visit with the 49ers for a third time and sign with the team.
The seven-year veteran has worked out with the Niners twice, mostly recently after Week 1. The 49ers -- who on Sunday lost defensive linemen Nick Bosa and Solomon Thomas to injuries -- are desperate for defensive line help. The team is expected to activate DE Dion Jordan from the practice squad this week. We could see Ansah suit up for the Niners in their Week 3 game against the Giants.

NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports free agent DL Ezekiel Ansah left San Francisco without a contract.
Ansah had a work out right after Week 1, but the two sides couldn’t agree to terms. It’s unclear if he didn’t have a good work out, wants more money, or just didn’t like the fit. He’ll likely settle for a one-year contract within the next couple of weeks.

Ian Rapoport reports that free agent DL Ziggy Ansah is working out for the 49ers after passing COVID-19 protocols.
The 49ers worked out Ansah earlier in the summer but opted to sign Dion Jordan after Ansah turned down an offer for the veteran minimum salary ($910K). However, they released Jordan during final roster cuts. Ansah played 11 games for Seattle last year but started in just one and managed 2.5 sacks. He’s missed 14 games over the past two years and would likely serve as a rotational piece in the stacked 49ers defense.

Free agent Ziggy Ansah sent a workout video to NFL teams.
Ansah worked out for the 49ers this month, but they signed Dion Jordan over him. Buffalo and the Ravens have also shown interest. Ansah looks healthy after shoulder injuries limited him to 11 games in 2019 and is reportedly up to 280 pounds. After getting $9 million from Seattle last year, Ansah may need to settle for a non-guaranteed deal to sign before Week 1.

Free agent Ziggy Ansah turned down an offer from the 49ers.
The 49ers were only willing to give him the veteran minimum ($910K). Ansah is coming off an injury filled 2019, playing 30 percent of snaps over 11 games. He’s unlikely to get much guaranteed money.

Free agent DE Ezekiel Ansah is taking a physical with the 49ers.
“Nothing is done,” NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports, but the Niners could be on their way to signing the edge rusher. Ansah played in 11 games for Seattle last year after six seasons in Detroit. Ansah would join a San Francisco front seven that recorded the fifth most sacks (48) in 2019.

Seahawks declared DE Ezekiel Ansah, S Marquise Blair, DE L.J. Collier, OG Kyle Fuller, OG Mike Iupati, WR John Ursua and OT Chad Wheeler inactive for Sunday’s Divisional Round game against the Packers.
Ansah is out with a neck injury. Blair (ankle) is also hurt while the other inactives are healthy scratches. OT Duane Brown (knee), OT George Fant (groin) and DE Quinton Jefferson (ankle) will also be on hand for Sunday’s 6:40 PM ET kickoff.
