Luke Keaschall reached four times, going 2-for-2 with two walks, and stole his 11th base of the year Thursday against the Rangers.
With his bat on the rebound and Kaelen Culpepper injured in Triple-A, the pressure seems mostly off Keaschall at the moment. He’s hitting .286/.393/.389 in 39 games since the beginning of May. Defense at second base is the bigger issue at this point, but if he keeps hitting, he’ll have a home somewhere.
