Lake Bachar allowed one earned run and three hits over 1 1/3 innings while striking out one on Friday against the Giants.
Bachar worked his way out of a jam in the first inning, striking out Jung Hoo Lee to end the threat after walking back-to-back hitters to put runners on first and second. In the second inning, he would allow three-straight singles to start the frame, and saw a runner come across to score on a sacrifice fly by Daniel Susac. Bachar would then be pulled in favor of John King, who forced Luis Arraez to ground into a double play to end the inning. Bachar has made four starts for the Marlins this month in an opener role and shouldn’t be counted on for fantasy purposes.
