Paul Goldschmidt continued his home run barrage during Saturday’s loss to the Reds, going 1-for-4 with a solo blast.
Goldschmidt victimized Reds’ left-hander Andrew Abbott for his 396-foot (104.3-mph EV) solo shot in the opening inning that gave the Yankees an early 1-0 advantage. It would be short lived. The blast was Goldschmidt’s fourth in his last seven games and brings him to 12 on the season to go with 37 RBI and a .292/.355/.551 slash line.
