Pederson set the tone for the Rangers in this one, battling Kevin Gausman for 11 pitches before slugging a 402-foot (107.2-mph EV) solo shot to open the ballgame. He also singled in the third inning and rode home on Wyatt Langford’s three-run shot. With his two-hit attack, the 34-year-old is now hitting .248/.349/.467 with 12 homers and 28 RBI on the season.
