Jarren Duran singled in Masataka Yoshida to finish off a three-run 10th as the Red Sox edged the Yankees 5-4 on Sunday Night Baseball to complete a four-game sweep at Fenway Park.

The Red Sox blew a masterful performance from Sonny Gray by giving up two runs in the ninth and then gave up two more on Wilyer Abreu’s second mistake in two innings in the 10th. However, the offense came through against Fernando Cruz in the bottom of the 10th. Anthony Siegler singled even after taking an automatic strike at the beginning of his at-bat, and pinch-hitter Masataka Yoshida followed with a double that gave him just his second RBI of the month. Tseng-Che Cheng then tied the game with a sac fly, and Duran followed with a liner to right with no one home, as the Yankees had gone to a two-man outfield. It was Duran’s second at-bat off the bench, as he didn’t start against lefty Carlos Rodón. He’s hitting just .156/.181/.244 with 33 strikeouts this month.

Nick Lodolo tossed five scoreless innings and got a no-decision against the Brewers on Monday.

Lodolo gave up one hit, walked four and struck out four. Injuries have limited the 28-year-old left-hander to just 10 starts so far this season. The bigger problem might be that Lodolo has a 5.05 ERA and 4.80 xFIP in those starts. Difficult to trust, Lodolo will face the Orioles at home this weekend.

Robert Gasser allowed two runs in 5 2/3 innings and got a no-decision in the Brewers’ 5-3 victory over the Reds on Monday.

Gasser gave up seven hits, walked one and struck out five. A single, a walk and a double got the Reds their first run in the first inning. Two more came against Gasser in the fifth inning when Elly De La Cruz hit a two-run home run. Gasser has a 4.54 ERA. He’s lined up to face the Diamondbacks at home this weekend.

Yankees optioned RHP Yerry De los Santos to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.

The Yankees will make a corresponding move prior to Tuesday’s game against Detroit. The 28-year-old was charged with two unearned runs over two innings during Monday’s series opener. He’s posted a pristine 1.04 ERA across 8 2/3 innings in the majors this season.

Chase DeLauter went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI against the Rangers on Monday.

DeLauter returned from a rib fracture last week, but continues to DH as he works his way back. The 24-year-old outfielder had two hits Monday, including an RBI double in the fifth inning that put the Guardians ahead 2-1. He’s hitting .269 with a .755 OPS and 37 RBI.

Jacob Latz threw two scoreless innings and picked up the save against the Guardians on Monday.

Latz entered in the bottom of the eighth inning with a one-run lead. He needed only eight pitches to post a scoreless inning. The Rangers scored twice in the top of the ninth inning and Latz closed out the Guardians in the bottom half of the inning for his 17th save. He has a 1.76 ERA and should find himself in next month’s All-Star game.

Brandon Nimmo underwent an MRI on Monday that showed an sprained AC joint in his left shoulder.

Rangers manager Skip Schumaker told reporters Nimmo could potentially require a trip to the injured list. He’ll undergo further testing on Tuesday before a final decision is made. The 33-year-old outfielder suffered the injury on a collision with the right-field wall during Sunday’s series finale against the Blue Jays.

Endy Rodríguez went 2-for-4 with a three-run homer and two walks as the Pirates topped the Phillies 11-7 on Monday.

Rodríguez’s first RBI came on a bases-loaded walk. In the ninth, he gave the Pirates a nice cushion with his homer in what had been an 8-7 game. He’s batting .271/.358/.559 with all four of his homers and 13 RBI in 21 games this month. If this keeps up, he might be in line for some time at DH or first base when he’s not catching.

Braxton Ashcraft fanned eight while allowing five runs in six innings Monday in a victory over the Phillies.

Ashcraft allowed three homers in three innings, but he retired 11 of the final 12 batters he faced as the Pirates came all of the way back to take an 8-5 lead by the time he left. Ashcraft is the first Pirates pitcher to give up five runs and win since Zach Duke in 2007. Well, in truth, it happened to Carmen Mlodzinski just last month, but you probably didn’t entirely doubt it, did you? Ashcraft is 8-3 with a 3.33 ERA, and he’ll be taking on the Nationals next.

Brought in with a three-run lead in the eighth, Gregory Soto gave up two runs in two-thirds of an inning Monday against the Phillies.

Brandon Marsh homered with one out and Bryson Stott singled with two outs, at which point Soto was pulled. Yohan Ramírez took over and allowed the inherited runner to score before finishing the inning. That might have created a save chance for Mason Montgomery, but the Pirates scored three times in the top of the ninth to take it away. Montgomery then pitched a hitless ninth with a four-run lead. Soto has blown two saves and given up runs in two other appearances this month, so it looks like the closer’s role in Pittsburgh is open again. Montgomery, Dennis Santana and Ramirez could all factor into the mix, with Carmen Mlodzinski also possibly picking up some multi-inning saves.

Aaron Nola was lit up for eight runs — seven earned — in 4 2/3 innings by the Pirates on Monday.

The Phillies gave Nola five runs through the first three innings, only for Nola to allow two runs in the fourth and six in the fifth. With a 23 percent strikeout rate, Nola is still missing enough bats to seemingly be of some use as a fourth or fifth starter. Still, the hooks have to come quicker. One option would be to use an opener for him, but the problem there is that he’s actually done his best work this season in the first innings of games. The loss tonight leaves him 3-5 with a 6.04 ERA ahead of a date with the Royals.
