After replacing Jack Dreyer to start the second, Charlie Barnes gave up seven runs in seven innings Wednesday to take a loss to the A’s.
He surrendered six runs in his first four innings, which probably would have gotten him pulled had the offense ever showed signs of getting back into the game. Since it didn’t, the Dodgers just let Barnes carry on and took the 7-1 loss. Barnes, who was called up before the game, will surely head back to Triple-A now.
