Mitch Keller allowed two runs in 5 1/3 innings and got a no-decision in the Pirates’ 3-2 victory over the Diamondbacks on Monday.
Keller gave up six hits, walked one and struck out four. The 30-year-old right-hander from Cedar Rapids, Iowa kept the Diamondbacks off the scoreboard for five innings before running into trouble in the sixth inning. Four consecutive hits led to two Arizona runs before Keller was removed. His ERA is 4.83. Keller is lined up to face the Reds on the road on Saturday.
