Caglianone takes a seat for the third consecutive game after being diagnosed with a Grade 1 flexor strain in his left elbow. It’ll be Matthew Lugo drawing another start in right field on Tuesday. There was optimism the 23-year-old burgeoning star would avoid a trip to the injured list and nothing has changed on that front for now. The Royals have an off-day before they kick off a three-game series against the Red Sox at Fenway Park on Friday night. There should be additional clarity on his status leading into that contest. However, fantasy managers should consider him day-to-day for now.

Rutschman takes a seat, along with Mickey Gasper and Jarren Duran with the Red Sox rolling out a righty-heavy lineup against Angels southpaw Reid Detmers. It’ll be lefty-mashers Jahmai Jones and Andruw Monasterio getting into the lineup with Connor Wong behind the plate.
