MacKenzie Gore allowed one run in 5 1/3 innings and got a no-decision in the Rangers’ 4-1 victory over the Angels on Monday.
Gore gave up four hits, walked two and struck out nine. The only run he allowed came on a Mike Trout home run in the first inning. Gore didn’t work deep into the game, but was excellent with nine strikeouts. He has a 4.43 ERA this year. Gore’s lined up to face the Athletics on the road on Saturday.
