Brady House singled and drew a pair of walks on Thursday night as the Nationals were shut out by Jacob deGrom and a host of Rangers’ relievers.
House had the only hit for the Nationals in the ballgame with a one-out single off of deGrom in the second inning. He also worked a pair of walks in the game, finishing the night 1-for-1. Only two other Nationals’ hitters reached base in the contest. For the season, the 23-year-old infielder is now slashing .238/.298/.398 with nine homers and 31 RBI in 252 plate appearances.
