Dodgers recall Seth Halvorsen from Triple-A OKC

There’s no reason for San Francisco to have Roupp, who is healthy, take the ball again after throwing a career-high 155 innings this season. The 28-year-old was slated to start Saturday’s contest against the Dodgers. He’ll finish with a pedestrian 4.01 ERA, 1.30 WHIP and 143/75 K/BB ratio in 29 starts.

Snell appears to be on track to start Friday’s series opener against the Giants as his final tune-up prior to the postseason. There’s enough risk here from a health and volume standpoint that fantasy managers outside of deeper mixed leagues should probably seek alternative options for the final week of the season.

It doesn’t qualify as a significant surprise to see Pages hitting towards the bottom of the order in his return from the injured list since he skipped a minor league rehab assignment on his way back from surgery to repair a left hand fracture. It’ll probably take him a couple games to knock off some of the rust, but Pages is probably worth rolling out there in deeper mixed leagues for the final week of the season.

Tucker is back in right field and hitting fifth after sitting out Sunday’s series finale against the Giants with a right leg contusion. It doesn’t appear to be a significant concern heading into the home stretch of the regular season. The 29-year-old former fantasy star has shown some real signs of life recently, hitting .313 (15-for-48) with five homers and one steal over his last 15 games.

Davidson went 1-for-4 with a stolen base and a run scored during his major-league debut at Oracle Park on Monday night. The 24-year-old rising prospect is worthy of a speculative pickup in deeper mixed leagues for the final week of the season since he figures to continue hitting in the middle of San Francisco’s lineup.

Barrosa figures to stick around with Houston for the final week of the regular season after passing through waivers unclaimed. The 25-year-old went 1-for-7 in four games after being claimed off waivers from the Diamondbacks earlier this month.

No word on the exact reason why, but Burrows apparently won’t make another start this season. He tossed a pair of scoreless innings during a rehab appearance for Triple-A Sugar Land over the weekend. He’s been on the injured list with elbow and shoulder issues since mid-July.

Karros is back at third base and hitting sixth after being scratched from Sunday’s lineup with back spasms. The 24-year-old corner infielder is hitting .258 with 12 homers and five steals in 125 games this season.

Kuroda-Grauer will get a couple additional games under his belt in the majors to close out the season with Max Muncy heading to the shelf with a knee injury. The 23-year-old rookie is back after undergoing surgery to repair a ruptured testicle back in late July. He was hitting .417 (25-for-60) through 16 games prior to the unfortunate injury.
