According to Mike Rodriguez, the Reds plan to promote Carlos Jorge from Triple-A Louisville on Friday.
The 22-year-old outfielder has had an impressive season between Double-A Chattanooga and Triple-A Louisville, slashing .308/.376/.427 with eight homers, 43 RBI, 33 stolen bases and a 77/33 K/BB ratio over 383 plate appearances. He could be an interesting speed flier in deeper mixed leagues if he works his way into regular playing time in the Reds’ outfield.
