Taj Bradley allowed one hit and zero runs with four walks and six strikeouts across six innings in a no-decision against the Guardians on Friday.
This was an odd outing for Bradley. He was practically unhittable, but really struggled early on with his command. He’d already walked four batters by the time there was one out in the third inning, yet found his way out of every jam. His splitter was a total mess at that point and Bradley leaned on his cutter to work in tandem with his fastball to stay out of trouble. Then, he leveled out afterwards to polish off his 13th quality start in 29 tries. He’s scheduled to face the Angels next time out.
