Michael McGreevy allowed four earned runs over 4 2/3 innings while striking out two, earning a no-decision in Friday’s loss to the Brewers.
McGreevy allowed a back-to-back hits to start this one, with the second hit being a double by Brice Turang that drove in Garrett Mitchell to put the Brewers up 1-0. McGreevy would allow a walk and a single to start the fourth inning, which was followed by a fielder’s choice by Luis Lara that brought Yelich home from third to put the Brewers up 2-1. McGreevy would be pulled with two outs in the fifth inning after allowing three hits and a third run to score before being pulled, but would be credited with a fourth earned run after Bryce Mautz allowed an inherited runner to score. McGreevy’s season ends with a 7-9 record and a 3.95 ERA.
