The 24-year-old infielder continues to work his way back from surgery to repair a torn ACL in his right knee. It’s actually encouraging that he was only placed on the 10-day IL and not the 60-day IL, as it means he’s making good progress and the Padres want to have the option to bring him back earlier in the season.
