Neighbors, 22, was a fourth-round selection by the Padres from the 2024 draft class. He has already climbed to Double-A San Antonio this season where he has posted a 2.57 ERA, 0.95 WHIP and a 25/10 K/BB ratio across 21 innings in 14 appearances. He could move quickly through the O’s system and it’s not out of the question that he could debut before the 2025 season concludes.

The third of those was the second of back-to-back shots with Nick Kurtz in the fourth. The A’s are poised to have Langeliers bat second in between Kurtz and Tyler Soderstrom at the beginning of the season, even though he’d seem to be the clearly worst bet of their top six hitters when it comes to OBP. He did come in at a respectable .325 there last year, but he was at .276 through his first 2 1/4 big-league seasons. Of course, it’ll be fine if he maintains that 2025 performance, and he’s looking the part with his six homers this spring.

Lopez walked one, but 36 of his 52 pitches today were strikes. Given his success for the A’s last year (4.08 ERA in a rotation that came in at 4.85 overall, 113/37 K/BB in 92 2/3 IP), it was surprising that Lopez entered spring training without a rotation spot locked up. Still, he’d seem to be in good shape now, and he could remain useful in AL-only leagues.

Shea Langeliers hit three of those, with Nick Kurtz also chiming in. Bergert entered the day having allowed two runs in six innings this spring, and the one bad game probably won’t change much for him. His only real hope of making the Royals is if a starter goes down.

The 34-year-old infielder delivered a two-run double in the eighth inning of this one that capped off the scoring. Frazier has not only played his way onto the Angels’ roster this spring, but it seems like he could wind up being the team’s starting second baseman on Opening Day. He’s hitting .368 (7-for-19) with five RBI and a stolen base during Cactus League play.

The 22-year-old right-hander racked up four strikeouts on the day while allowing just one base on balls. The hard-throwing right-hander got five whiffs on 46 pitches on the day, posting a CSW of 26 percent. He averaged 98.2 mph with his sinker in the outing and touched as high as 100.2 mph. For the spring, he holds a 4.63 ERA, 1.11 WHIP and a 10/3 K/BB ratio across 11 2/3 innings.

The 22-year-old infielder reached on a fielder’s choice in the opening inning and swiped second base, but the M’s couldn’t cash him in from there. He then doubled with two outs in the third inning and got the Mariners on the board with a run-scoring single in the fifth inning. He’s having an exceptional spring at the plate, hitting .289 (11-for-38) with four homers, 12 RBI and three stolen bases in 43 plate appearances.

Gilbert punched out five batters on the afternoon while issuing a pair of walks. Despite the constant traffic on the basepaths against him, the 28-year-old righty limited the Halos to an RBI single by Logan O’Hoppe in the second and a sacrifice fly from Zach Neto in the fourth. He did get 15 swings and misses on 66 pitches on the day, posting a CSW of 27 percent. Even with this rough outing, Gilbert still sports a terrific 2.38 ERA, 1.50 WHIP and a 12/6 K/BB ratio over 11 1/3 innings through four spring starts. He remains an elite starting pitching option in fantasy drafts.

Angels’ skipper Kurt Suzuki told reporters after the game that there’s nothing definitive on Neto just yet and that the dynamic 25-year-old shortstop is heading for additional testing. It’s the same hand that landed Neto on the injured list at the end of the 2025 season after he was hit by a pitch and then aggravated it while swinging the bat. All fantasy managers can do now is wait and hope for the best. Expect the Angels to provide an update on his status on Sunday.

Lowder gave up four hits, walked four and committed two errors on pickoff throws, so it’s kind of impressive that he allowed just the two runs. Expectations are that the 24-year-old righty will have a spot in Cincinnati’s rotation with Hunter Greene sidelined. He should eventually prove to be a reliable third or fourth starter, but he might be a little too inconsistent to amass mixed-league value in his first full big-league season.

Osuna has no extra-base hits this spring, but he does have six singles and five walks in 24 plate appearances, giving him a .458 OBP. He’s also 3-for-3 stealing bases. The Rangers figure to send him down instead of carrying him as a fourth outfielder, but he could be called up to serve as a starter if one of the guys ahead of him goes down.
