Félix Bautista will miss the rest of the season with a “significant shoulder injury,” interim manager Tony Mansolino said.
We’d pretty much written off Bautista for the rest of 2025, but a “significant shoulder injury” sounds like something that could be a problem in 2026, too. Before getting hurt last month, Bautista had a 2.60 ERA and 19 saves in his return from Tommy John surgery. The Orioles are using Keegan Akin as their primary closer right now, though that’s a role that could be in flux the rest of the way.
