Clarke has been on the IL since Apr. 22, and he’ll likely require a fair amount of time on a rehab assignment before being activated. With Carlos Cortes thriving as a starter against right-handers, Clarke’s playing time might not be what he’s used to when he does return.

Pages had a sac fly that accounted for the Dodgers’ only run over the first nine innings. He had a chance to break the game open with two on in the eighth, but he instead grounded into an inning-ending double play. He got another chance in the 10th after an Alex Call double gave the Dodgers the lead and essentially put the game away with his 23rd homer of the year. It was his second in six games since he returned from a fractured hand. He ends up at .274/.343/.468 with 85 RBI in 134 games.

Wrobleski has allowed one run in 8 2/3 innings in his last five appearances. He’ll probably stick on the Dodgers roster as a middle relief option in the NLDS. An All-Star as a starter before spending some time on the IL and finishing the season in the pen, he’ll enter October 12-5 with a 3.66 ERA in 140 innings.

Sasaki has struck out six over three scoreless innings since coming off the IL prior to Tuesday’s game. He averaged 99.2 mph and topped out at 100.4 mph with his seven fastballs today. Based on Evan Phllips’ improvement and the very recent results from Sasaki and Edwin Díaz, things seem to be looking up for the Dodgers pen.

Seymour, who got moved from the rotation to the bullpen in Triple-A in June, ended up with a 4.55 ERA and a 23/16 K/BB in 31 2/3 innings over 25 appearances in the majors this year. It’s surprising that he hasn’t been able to miss more bats with his 95-99 mph fastball, cutter and slider, and he might be in some danger of landing on the waiver wire with the Giants needing to make room for a bunch of injured players returning from the 60-day IL.

Conine connected on his 19th homer of the season. The 29-year-old appeared in only 94 games, but he made the most of them with an .846 OPS and 43 RBI. It seems likely that Conine did enough to earn a larger role with Miami to open the 2027 season, and his power makes him someone to monitor in deeper formats.

In his final appearance of the season — and possibly, but far from assuredly, his final appearance with the Marlins — Alcantara locked down his third save of the season. Raise your hand if you predicted that figure. You liar. Alcantara went 13-11 in 2026 with a 153/59 K/BB over 214 innings. The right-hander showed he’s still a strong option, and be it for Miami or a new club, there will be fantasy-relevance, even if he doesn’t miss bats with the best of them.

Ritchie’s final start of the season saw him allow seven hits and walks, and he struck out just two. The right-hander went 1-5 on the year with a 4.91 ERA, but there were positives moments for the 23-year-old, and assuming there aren’t drastic changes, there’s a decent chance he’ll be a rotation option for Atlanta in 2027. He’s more dynasty play than redraft next year, but the stuff is good enough that it could lead to a breakout next summer.

The Astros will host the White Sox in the Wild Card. Walker has been pretty bad for five months, but he did come through really nicely in the end, homering in four of his final six games. He ends up with a .226/.299/.427 line, 29 homers and 87 RBI. Three years in a row now, he’s finished with 26-29 homers, 84-88 RBI and 72-73 runs scored.

Lambert gave up two singles in the first and then retired the side in order in the second. That proved sufficient for the Astros, who went on to win 9-0 to clinch their postseason berth. Lambert might start one of the three Wild Card games against the White Sox after closing out the regular season 8-10 with a 3.82 ERA in 155 2/3 innings.

Pecko, who started and lost to the Mariners on Wednesday, came out of the pen in the third today and retired nine of the 10 batters he faced, throwing only 34 pitches in the process. That’ll keep him in the mix to pitch in some capacity during the Wild Card series. After debuting in August, he wound up 2-0 with a 3.93 ERA and a 23/14 K/BB over 34 1/3 innings in his five starts and three relief appearances for the Astros.
