It’s Chourio’s third career two-homer game and first since Apr. 6, 2025. It’s also his first time this year finishing with four runs or four RBI. He’s 8-for-13 with four extra-base hits in four games this month, raising his OPS from .721 to .878.

Ketel Marte (back, hamstring) returned to the Diamondbacks’ starting lineup for Thursday evening’s showdown against the Dodgers.

Marte was held out of Wednesday’s game due to tightness in his lower back and hamstring, they appear to have been only minor issues though. He’s right back at second base and in his familiar leadoff spot in the Diamondbacks’ lineup against Dodgers’ southpaw Justin Wrobleski on Thursday night in Arizona.
Carlos Rodón

NYY Starting Pitcher #55

Carlos Rodón allowed just one earned run in six innings against the Guardians on Thursday, striking out seven.

Only two batters actually notched a hit against Rodón, including an RBI single off the bat of Stuart Fairchild in the fourth inning. Rodon got whiffs on 38 percent of swings against him, with his velocity playing close to a mile per hour up from his seasonal average. An unfortunate no-decision here, but Rodón should be started with confidence against the Guardians in a run-it-back start next week.
Zack Wheeler

PHI Starting Pitcher #45

Zach Wheeler went seven strong innings against the Padres, notching a win and eight strikeouts while allowing just two runs.

Wheeler carried a no-hitter into the sixth, but gave up a little outfield bloop single to Bryce Johnson, and, later in the seventh, a two-run homer to Manny Machado. Those were the only hits he allowed, lowering his ERA to 2.31. After struggling with his velocity in his rehab from thoracic outlet syndrome, Wheeler has emerged as a league-winning upside pick. He’ll take on the Jays in his next start, and fantasy managers should keep dialing Wheeler up until they hear otherwise.
Corey Seager

The Athletic’s Ken Rosenthal reports Corey Seager (back) is expected to rejoin the Rangers this weekend.

Seager began a rehab assignment on Tuesday in Double-A and doesn’t look to need much more time to get his feet wet. He could potentially be available for Friday’s game against the Guardians.
Antonio Senzatela

ESPN’s Jeff Passan said that Antonio Senzatela is “as good as gone” at this year’s MLB trade deadline.

After being a well below-average starting pitcher, Senzatela moved to the bullpen this year and has been lights out, posting a 1.30 ERA, 0.89 WHIP, and 26/10 K/BB ratio in 34 2/3 innings. Now, the lack of strikeouts remains a bit of a concern, but Senzatela has proven he can provide valuable length out of the bullpen and will be a free agent at the end of the season, so the Rockies will almost assuredly move him to a contender looking to shore up their bullpen.
Aaron Judge

Aaron Judge (ribs) is not in the Yankees’ lineup on Thursday against the Guardians.

For the third straight game, Aaron Judge (ribs) is not in the Yankees lineup. However, as of now, he is also not on the injured list. The team has sent him for additional meetings with a specialist since the bone bruise on his ribcage is in such a unique spot. The Yankees will face Boston on Friday, so no off days are coming, which means the team will likely need to decide on whether or not to put Judge on the injured list before the weekend series starts. For Thursday, Jose Caballero will play shortstop with Anthony Volpe on the bench, and Max Schuemann will play right field and bat ninth.
Ty France

Ty France is starting at first base and batting cleanup against the Phillies on Thursday

With Nick Castellanos no longer in San Diego, the Padres have been using Gavin Sheets in left field more often, which has freed up first base for Ty France. Since May 1st, France is hitting .292/.313/.508 in 68 plate appearances with three home runs, 10 RBI, and a 48 percent hard-hit rate. That has also come with a 22/2 K/BB ratio, so it’s not all great news, but he is worth a look in deeper formats if he’s going to be a regular in the lineup.
Shohei Ohtani

LAD Starting Pitcher #17

Shohei Ohtani pitched two-hit ball for six innings and went 3-for-4 with two walks at the plate in the Dodgers’ 7-0 shutout of the Diamondbacks on Wednesday.

Ohtani was a little wild early in this one, but he worked through it in turning in his fifth scoreless start of the year. He’s allowed a total of five earned runs in 61 innings, which amounts to a 0.74 ERA, and he’s now won four starts in a row. It’s shaping up to be a fascinating Cy Young race in the NL this year. MVP, on the other hand, probably won’t be interesting at all as long as Ohtani remains healthy. Ohtani will probably pitch again next Wednesday against the Pirates.
Josh Hader

HOU Relief Pitcher #71

Josh Hader worked a hitless ninth for a save in his 2026 debut Wednesday against the Pirates.

Hader walked one and struck out one. He averaged 95.8 mph with his sinker, which is very encouraging. That’s actually a little better than his 95.5-mph average from last season and it’s nearly two mph better than in his four Triple-A starts. Of course, there’s no guarantee that he’ll remain healthy from here, but based on the way he was throwing tonight, he could go right back to performing as a top-notch closer.
