Bills DT Kyle Williams (foot) is expected to miss 1-2 more games, following Buffalo’s Week 7 bye.

He’s considered week-to-week with what is believed to be a bone spur hitting his Achilles’. The Bills started practice squad-type Kellen Heard at nose tackle in Week 6, and were promptly exposed for 123 rushing yards and three touchdowns via Ahmad Bradshaw and D.J. Ware. The Bills play the Redskins in Week 8.

Leo Chanel was carted off the field during Week 3’s game against the Seahawks.

Chanel was unable to continue after taking hit on a run play, and while he was being stabilized, he was able to wave to the crowd upon his exit. There should be an update on the severity of the injury before the end of Sunday’s game.

Fantasy implications of latest Nacua injury update
Puka Nacua did not practice on Thursday heading into Week 3, and Sean McVay's latest statement is not promising for his return. Kyle Dvorchak explains what that means for Davante Adams and Terrance Ferguson in fantasy.

Panthers CB Mike Jackson suffered a groin injury in Carolina’s Week 3 game against the Browns and will not return.

Jackson was injured on a first quarter play where he was called for pass interference. He’s an every-snap player for the Panthers’ defense, so this will require dipping into the team’s depth.

Colts EDGE Laiatu Latu (chest) left Indianapolis’ Week 3 game against the Texans and is questionable to return.

Latu tried to return briefly after suffering the injury, but went into the locker room. It seems unlikely he’ll return. A pectoral injury is probably the main concern at this point.

De’Von Achane was forced from the Dolphins’ Week 3 game against the Chiefs with a knee injury and is questionable to return.

Achane planted awkwardly after a first series catch-and-run. He remained down on the field for an eternity before walking extremely slowly to the sideline. He then headed to the blue tent before slowly making his way to the locker room. Achane seemed to be trying to “walk it off,” but he also seemed to not be succeeding. He did not have the looks of a player likely to return, but he wasn’t really limping and did not require the assistance of a cart. Ollie Gordon is the only other Dolphins back dressed for Week 3. Stay tuned.

Colts K Spencer Shrader (groin) left Indianapolis’ Week 3 game against the Texans and is questionable to return.

Rigoberto Sanchez will supposedly handle kicking, Shrader appears to have been injured in pre-game workouts.

FOX’s Jay Glazer reports Tyson Bagent cleared concussion protocol but Case Keenum will start Monday against the Eagles.

He said this on FOX’s pre-game show. Per Glazer, they couldn’t make Bagent the starter because he wasn’t involved in enough of the game planning, but with Caleb Williams now due to miss 3-4 weeks, Bagent could easily start Week 4’s game against the Jets. It’s also possible Bagent makes a relief appearance in Week 3 if Keenum looks rough. Bagent likely should be added in any superflex leagues where his concussion left him on the waiver wire.

Keon Coleman (ankle) is active for Week 3 against the Chargers.

Coleman was iffy headed into the weekend with an ankle injury he sustained last week against the Lions. Last week Coleman caught all six of his targets for 63 yards with DJ Moore sidelined with a shoulder issue. Moore is active for Week 3, meaning Coleman should remain on fantasy benches for now.

Chargers declared S Elijah Molden, QB DJ Uiagalelei, OL Alex Harkey, G Kayode Awosika, TE Charlie Kolar, WR Brenen Thompson, and DT Dalvin Tomlinson inactive for Week 3 against the Bills.

This is not an ideal injury report for the Chargers. Molden is the team’s starting free safety, but he’s currently out with a hamstring injury, while Dalvin Tomlinson, their starting defensive tackle, is also out with a hamstring injury. That’s good news for Josh Allen, James Cook, and the Bills offense. On the offensive side of the ball, Charlie Kolar, their starting tight end, has a forearm injury, and starting left guard Kayode Awosika has a fibula injury. Pair that with starting linemen Trey Pipkins III and Tyler Biadasz already being on the injured list, and their Chargers offensive line is going to be short-handed against a Bills defense that welcomed back Ed Oliver on Sunday. That could ding Omarion Hampton’s production a bit.

Chiefs declared CB Chamarri Conner (knee), T Josh Simmons (back), TE Jared Wiley, QB Garrett Nussmeier, DE Jack Pyburn and DE Tyreke Smith inactive for Kansas City’s Week 3 game against the Dolphins.

Conner and Simmons, who both have now missed multiple weeks, were ruled out on Friday. The other five players are healthy scratches.

Joey Porter Jr. (back) will not play in Week 3 against the Bengals.

Who could have seen this coming? Porter has yet to suit up for a game this season, and it’s due to either a back issue, his current contract situation, or a mixture of the two. Teams have inquired about his availability via trade, but no deal appears on the horizon for the 26-year-old corner. In addition to Porter, the Steelers also declared RB Rico Dowdle, QB Drew Allar, QB Willi Howard, RB Eli Heidenreich, DE Kevin Jobity Jr., and DE Gabe Rubio inactive for Week 3.
