Panthers signed Grambling State OG David Moore.
Moore (6'2/330) is as squatty as an offensive line prospect gets. Per Mockdraftable, Moore’s height is in the 1st percentile among guards since 1999, while his weight is in the 87th percentile. His short, hefty build did not stop him from dominating at Grambling State for four years as a starter. As Moore’s frame would suggest, he plays with good natural leverage and feisty mentality when getting after it in the run game. He features some quality strength and power to back it up, too. Where Moore can have issues is when operating in space, particularly in the pass game. Moore finished below the 30th percentile in both the three-cone and short-shuttle, and it shows in his film. Moore has some potential as a gap-scheme guard, but will need some time to fine tune his footwork in order to help circumvent his middling agility, similar to a discount Chance Warmack.
