Steelers signed CB Levi Wallace, formerly of the Bills, to a two-year, $8 million contract.

26-year-old Wallace played out his Bills rookie contract as a 17-game starter in 2021. Starting since 2019, Wallace has six picks over the past three years but isn’t anybody’s idea of a shutdown corner. That is reflected in his salary, which is modest for a corner with Wallace’s experience. His addition does not necessarily mean free agent Joe Haden is gone, as the Steelers could still use another body or two at corner. Ahkello Witherspoon has also hit the open market.

Mansoor Delane (shoulder) is questionable for Kansas City’s Week 8 game against the Broncos.

Delane didn’t practice either of the last two days after popping on to the injury report on Thursday. Andy Reid could only muster a “We’ll see how he does here going forward” when asked about it. We’d consider him on the pessimistic side of questionable.
Patriots to target after Brown's knee injury news
With news that A.J. Brown did not practice on Thursday, Kyle Dvorchak breaks down Brown's outlook and other Patriots who will have an increased workload in the star receiver's absence.

Aaron Jones (knee) will play in Week 8 against the Lions.

Jones departed the team’s Week 7 win over the Colts after aggravating an existing knee issue. He was held out of practice Wednesday before retaking the practice field on consecutive days to end the week, ultimately deemed healthy enough to play against the division rival Lions in Week 8. Fantasy managers are likely best off finding a suitable alternative considering Jones is struggling through a sprained MCL and the team got Jordan Mason back a week ago, although managers in a bind can safely expect him to be on the field come Sunday.

Ed Oliver (knee) will play in Week 8 against the Ravens.

Oliver has been on the shelf since sustaining a knee injury in Week 4, returning in Week 8 following two missed games plus the team’s Week 7 bye. He played a healthy 81 percent snap rate in his only fully healthy game this season as he continues to struggle through multiple injuries, with his return a welcome sight for a defense that has allowed the second most yards and third most points per game this season.

Spencer Brown (back) is questionable for Buffalo’s Week 8 game against Baltimore.

Brown has a history of not practicing and getting up for the game on Sunday, so we wouldn’t necessarily read too far in to his two DNPs on Wednesday and Thursday. That said, it also wouldn’t be surprising if Brown had to sit against the Ravens on Sunday.

Elgton Jenkins (knee) is not on Cleveland’s final Week 8 injury report.

The interior lineman managed a full session on Friday. Cleveland will have its starting center ready for Pittsburgh’s front in Week 8.

Jared Verse (knee) is not on Cleveland’s final Week 8 injury report.

The star edge player will go after a limited session on Thursday and a full practice on Friday. Cleveland’s in a good place this week on the injury report heading into their matchup with the Steelers.

Dylan Sampson (knee) is not on Cleveland’s final Week 8 injury report.

Sampson got in two full sessions to close out the week and should be a low-end RB3/FLEX play in limited snaps against the Steelers.

Trent McDuffie (groin) is questionable for Week 8 against the Chargers.

McDuffie has missed the previous two games as he tends to a groin injury suffered ahead of Week 6. He made it back to the practice field this week but was unable to prove healthy enough to avoid the questionable designation.

Colby Parkinson (ribs) is questionable for Week 8 against the Chargers.

Parkinson gutted out an injury to his midsection against the Raiders a week ago when he was in and out of the lineup while clearly dealing with significant discomfort. He was unable to practice through Thursday this week, prompting the questionable designation ahead of a Week 8 meeting with the Chargers. Already down multiple primary pass catchers, the Rams could see further concentration of volume should Parkinson miss, a situation that could also pave the way for Davis Allen to see an uptick in opportunities in the 12- and 13-personnel-heavy Rams offense. Fantasy managers likely won’t get further updates on Parkinson’s status before the team releases inactives 90-minutes prior to first kick.

Ben Skowronek (calf) is questionable for Pittsburgh’s Week 8 game against the Browns.

He was limited all three days. Skowronek carries no standalone value but could eat into snaps for the other Steelers receivers if active.
