Bengals HC Zac Taylor said Joe Burrow underwent a successful surgery on his toe Friday.
Taylor declined to place a timeline on when Burrow could return to action, but the prevailing belief is that the Bengals’ QB1 will be out for at least the next three months. Whether or not Burrow returns to the field will likely depend on where the Bengals sit in the standings at the time he’s well enough to play. If the Bengals are out of playoff contention, it wouldn’t be surprising if Burrow were shut down for the season, but we’ll have to see how things play out in the coming months.
