Giants C John Michael Schmitz was forced from New York’s Week 6 game against the Eagles with a concussion.
He will not return and should be considered week to week, though he has 10 days to get cleared for Week 7 against the Broncos. Schmitz also suffered a nose injury on the same really nasty shot that concussed him.
  • BAL Defensive Lineman #98

Ravens signed DT Travis Jones to a three-year, $40.5 million contract extension.
NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport later scooped the contract details, noting that Jones is getting $25 million guaranteed. Jones has been an excellent run-stuffer this year. Pro Football Focus has him graded as a top-10 run defender among interior linemen. He has 27 stops and six TFLs this year. Jones was set to hit free agency after the season. He is now under contract with the Ravens through 2028.
Metcalf expected to play Monday vs. Dolphins
Kyle Dvorchak talks about how DK Metcalf, who has been dealing with a stomach issue, projects in fantasy for Week 15, sharing why he should have a big role for the Steelers against the Dolphins on Monday Night Football.
  • MIA Running Back #28
Dolphins coach Mike McDaniel said De’Von Achane (ribs) will be limited in Thursday’s practice.
Per McDaniel, Achane will wear a non-contact jersey for his first practice of the week. McDaniel told reporters he chose to keep Achane out of the second half of Sunday’s game as a precaution. He followed up on Monday by saying Achane was feeling better. It doesn’t sound like the star running back is at any risk of missing his Week 15 game versus the Steelers. Per usual, Achane will claim a spot in the RB1 ranks.
  • MIN Wide Receiver #3
The Athletic’s Alec Lewis believes the Vikings will “almost certainly” exercise Jordan Addison’s fifth-year option.
Lewis is just speculating here, but it’s safe to say Addison has earned a contract extension in Minnesota. Picking up his fifth-year option lengthens the runway for Minnesota to negotiate that deal. He will be eligible for an extension in the coming offseason. Lewis also mentioned the Vikings possibly listening to offers for Addison from other teams. While that seems unlikely, it would create cap space for the team while also giving them extra draft capital to work with. Still, it’s hard to imagine the Vikings moving on from Addison, given how productive he has been thusfar. Addison has 2,296 yards and 22 touchdowns through 38 career games. Though his ceiling is ultimately capped by the presence of Justin Jefferson, Addison has established himself as one of the league’s premier deep threats.
  • NYG Wide Receiver #87
Giants signed WR/KR Xavier Gipson to their practice squad.
Gipson was released by the Eagles on Monday and has had a journeyman season. The 24-year-old caught 21 passes for 229 yards and scored a punt return touchdown as a rookie for the Jets in 2023. After a quiet 2024, Gipson began the 2025 season with the Jets and bounced to the Giants, Eagles, and now the Giants again. He joins the practice squad as depth for the Giants’ special teams and wide receiver groups.
  • DEN Quarterback #4
The Denver Post’s Parker Gabriel reports Broncos QB Sam Ehlinger declined the Colts’ offer to sign him to their active roster.
Ehlinger was originally drafted by the Colts and spent four seasons with the team. He told The Denver Post that he and his agent talked to the Colts for two days before turning down the offer and sticking with the Broncos’ practice squad. The Colts were going for familiarity to fill their quarterback role by trying to get Ehlinger while also getting Philip Rivers. Ehlinger chooses to stay with the Broncos, where he is the third quarterback behind Bo Nix and Jarrett Stidham.
  • LV Tight End #87
Raiders TE Michael Mayer (ankle) was limited in Wednesday’ practice.
Mayer has not played since suffering the ankle injury in Week 12. He returns to practice in a limited fashion on Wednesday with the hope of playing in Week 15 against the Eagles. Meanwhile, fellow tight end Ian Thomas, who has taken on more snaps in Mayer’s absence, did not practice on Wednesday due to a calf injury.
  • LV Quarterback #7
Raiders QB Geno Smith (shoulder/back) did not practice Wednesday.
Smith adds a back injury to his initial shoulder injury suffered in Week 14. He was already unlikely to start Week 15, but the DNP listing with a second back injury indicates this could turn into a multi-week absence. Kenny Pickett will start with Smith out Week 15 against the Eagles.
  • PHI Tackle #65
Eagles OT Lane Johnson (foot) did not practice in Wednesday’s walkthrough.
Johnson was reported to be targeting a Week 15 return from his Week 11 foot injury, but is still not back to practicing. He will have the rest of the week to get practice time in as he is currently trending to miss Week 15 against the Raiders. OL Landon Dickerson (calf) was listed as limited on Wednesday, leaving the Eagles offensive line in a continuous shuffle amidst the team’s offensive struggles.
  • PHI Defensive Tackle #98
Eagles DT Jalen Carter (shoulders) did not practice Wednesday.
Carter underwent procedures on his shoulders last Monday and not back to practicing just yet. The Eagles’ franchise defensive tackle is a key presence in the middle of the defense, but is trending on the wrong side of questionable for Week 15. Any practice time he can get in this week is more likely to contribute to Carter ramping up to play in Week 16.
  • LA Wide Receiver #17
Rams WR Davante Adams (hamstring) did not practice Wednesday.
Adams has been nursing the hamstring for a week now, but played through it in Week 14 against the Cardinals. He starts out the week as a non-participant, but if he is on the same schedule as last week, Adams will still be good to go for Week 15. Fantasy managers should not worry about Adams being inactive just yet.
