Seahawks coach Mike Macdonald said TE Elijah Arroyo (knee) is “out right now.”

Macdonald told reporters earlier this week that it was unlikely Arroyo would suit up on Sunday. His comments today all but confirm that. A.J. Barner will see a full complement of routes with Arroyo sidelined. Barner is a low-end TE2 heading into Week 15.

Rams opened Terrance Ferguson’s (ankle) 21-day practice window.

Rams coach Sean McVay told reporters that Ferguson will be limited today. The Rams could get their top receiving tight end back on the field this week, but they have slow-played his rehab thus far. It would be unsurprising to see him sit out this weekend. He should be added where available, though.
Tuten's availability vs. Ravens on TNF in limbo
Kyle Dvorchak delivers the latest news on Jaguars RB Bhayshul Tuten now that he has not practiced in the days leading up to the team's TNF title vs. the Ravens due to ankle and foot issues.

Myles Garrett (knee) will practice on Wednesday.

Rams coach Sean McVay told reporters that Garrett will be limited today. The team could still give him another couple of weeks to ramp up, but he at least has a chance to play in Week 9 against the Commanders. Garrett underwent surgery on his injured knee back in September.

Bears placed Kentavius Street on injured reserve with a knee injury.

The Bears’ backup defensive tackle suffered a knee injury in Week 8 against the Seahawks. Whether he has a chance to return this season has not yet been reported. The Bears also signed TE Stephen Carlson to the active roster and DL Earnest Brown to the practice squad.

Rashee Rice (hamstring/knee) was limited in Wednesday’s practice

Rice returned from a multi-game absence because of the hamstring injury last week and he’s been on the injury report with the knee issue for most of the year. It doesn’t sound like either injury will prevent him from playing in Week 9. The limited session was likely maintenance. Rice led the Chiefs with eight targets in his first game back on Sunday. He’s been the Chiefs’ only consistently productive pass-catcher when healthy. He will be in the WR1 mix when he takes on the Jets this week.

Travis Kelce (ankle) was limited in Wednesday’s practice.

Kelce looked slightly hobbled by the ankle issue in the Chiefs’ Week 8 loss to the Broncos, but he played through it and never missed a meaningful number of snaps. A limited session today means he should be good to go for Sunday’s game against the Jets. Kelce’s numbers are down over the past month, but he’s still seeing enough work to be considered a low-end TE1, especially against a weak Jets defense.

Saints opened Kelvin Banks’ (ankle) 21-day practice window.

This is a big deal. The Saints’ left tackle earned PFWA All-Rookie Team honors last year. He suffered what was reportedly a “severe” high-ankle sprain earlier this season and underwent surgery to correct the issue. He was initially expected to return sometime in December, but apparently his rehab went very well. Banks is not guaranteed to suit up in Week 9 against the Browns, but he should retake the field soon enough. Banks’ impending return will boost both the Saints’ pass game and run game. Banks was officially limited at Wednesday’s practice.

Cardinals coach Mike LaFleur said James Conner (ankle) will not return from injured reserve this week.

LaFleur could only say the team was taking things “week to week” when asked if Conner will play this year. It sounds like the veteran running back may ultimately miss the entire season. With Jeremiyah Love on IR, Tyler Allgeier will handle the bulk of the backfield touches versus Seattle.

Giants coach John Harbaugh said Cam Skattebo (hamstring) remains day-to-day.

ESPN’s Jordan Raanan reports that Skattebo once again worked with trainers off to the side at today’s practice. He will be listed as a non-participant. With Tyrone Tracy (hamstring) on injured reserve, Devin Singletary is tentatively in line to start in Week 9 against the Eagles. He would likely be an RB3/FLEX if Skattebo cannot play.

Amon-Ra St. Brown (rib) was limited in Wednesday’s practice.

St. Brown briefly left the Lions’ Week 8 win over the Vikings but managed to finish the game. A limited session today means the rib injury should be a non-issue by Sunday. The Lions should have no issues picking apart Miami’s atrocious defense this week. Per usual. St. Brown will be a high-end WR1.

Cardinals designated Isaiah Adams (ankle) to return from injured reserve.

The Cardinals’ offensive line has been slowed by injuries this season. Adams’ return is good news. It is unclear whether he will be able to play this week, but he will be back within 21 days at the very least.
