Bo Nix completed 28-of-47 attempts for 352 yards, one touchdown, and one interception in the Broncos’ 34-20, Week 16 loss against the Jaguars, adding four rushes for 11 yards.
Nix’s yardage total was impressive, but much of it came with the Broncos trailing and picking their way down the field in a hugely pass-heavy game script (47 passes to 12 running back rushing attempts) against the pass-funnel Jaguars. Nix connected with Courtland Sutton for a first half touchdown and nearly hit Sutton for another score in the red zone. Nix targeted RJ Harvey five times for 71 yards and hit Troy Franklin for a long gain. Nix, with just one multi-touchdown game over his past six games, will be a usable 12-team league option next week against the Chiefs. He had 295 scoreless yards the last time he faced KC.
