Broncos re-signed LB Alex Singleton to a two-year, $15.5 million contract extension.

The deal includes $11 million guaranteed. Singelton led Denver with 135 total tackles in 2025. He also notched one sack, four pass breakups, and a forced fumble. He missed a single game to undergo surgery for testicular cancer. One game. NFL players are indeed “built different.” Singleton wears the green dot on defense, meaning he relays the play-calls from the sidelines to the field. Now back in Denver for two more seasons, he will resume that role in 2026.

Mike Washington Jr. rushed three times for seven yards in the Raiders’ Week 2 win over the Chargers.

Washington saw two of his carries and his lone target in the fourth quarter as the Raiders attempted to bleed the clock. Ashton Jeanty also appeared to get shaken up late in the game, putting Washington on the field for a few extra snaps. Jeanty eventually returned to the game even after the contest was all but decided, so it’s safe to say he’s okay. Washington remains a distant RB2 for the Raiders headed into Week 3.
Giants very much 'alive' vs. Rams in Week 2
Jay Croucher and Drew Dinsick explain why they aren't putting too much stock in the Giants' good Week 1 form, but the Rams' slow start and other 'external factors' opens the door for an upset in LA.

Jacory Croskey-Merritt rushed 12 times for 43 yards in the Commanders’ Week 2 loss to the Cowboys, adding one catch for five additional yards.

Jaxon Smith-Njigba caught 9-of-11 targets for 155 yards and three touchdowns in the Seahawks’ Week 2 win over the Cardinals.

On the Seahawks’ second play from scrimmage, a Cardinals safety somehow failed to pick up Smith-Njigba, streaking down the right sideline, after he snuck right past CB Will Johnson. Seahawks QB Drew Lock noticed and fired a perfect pass to Smith-Njigba in stride, leading to the Seahawks’ wide receiver’s longest career gain. The rest of the day played out similarly, with Smith-Njigba routing up defenders right and left. He scored again on the Seahawks’ seventh drive, leaping past a diving cornerback to make the catch in the end zone. Lock linked up with him again for a third score in the back of the end zone, threading the ball past a linebacker in the end zone as Smith-Njigba broke left on a crosser, dusting Cardinals S Budda Baker.

Javonte Williams rushed 12 times for 30 yards in the Cowboys’ Week 2 win over the Commanders, adding three receptions for 20 additional yards.

The Cowboys dominated through the air on Sunday, but the same can’t be said of their efforts on the ground. Washington bottled up Williams all afternoon, with his biggest play coming on a nine-yard run on the Cowboys’ final drive. Williams has just 71 rushing yards on 24 attempts (3.0 YPC), but has also seen nine targets in his first two games. He remains the unquestioned leader of the Cowboys’ backfield and will be a volume-based RB2 in next week’s game against the Ravens.

Michael Mayer caught 3-of-4 targets for 23 yards in the Raiders’ Week 2 win over the Chargers.

Brock Bowers missed his second game of the year while recovering from a mensicus trim procedure, giving Mayer another opportunity to start. He led the Raiders in routes but failed to make a big impact in the box score, logging a measly 14 percent target share. Mayer is generally in the TE2 mix when Bowers is out, but even then he isn’t a particularly high-upside option. With Bowers expected to return next week, Mayer can be sent back to the waiver wire on the upcoming waivers run.

Jach Bech caught both of his targets for 25 yards in the Raiders’ Week 2 win over the Chargers.

Bech got in the end zone last week but was still held to three catches for 23 yards. Without a touchdown to his name in Week 2, there wasn’t much fantasy production to be had. Bech is the WR3 on an offense centered around Ashton Jeanty and eventually Brock Bowers. He is not on the fantasy radar for Week 3.

Jalen Nailor caught 1-of-3 targets for nine yards in the Raiders’ Week 2 win over the Chargers.

Nailor caught three passes for 27 yards on five targets last week. His role shrank this time around with Tre Tucker erupting for 119 yards and a score. It will be hard for him to see more work in Week 3 if Brock Bowers is back. He is buried in the WR6 ranks ahead of the Raiders’ upcoming game versus the Saints.

Drew Lock completed 19-of-26 passes for 235 yards and three touchdowns in the Seahawks’ 31-7, Week 2 win over the Cardinals.

Lock looks great, and the Seahawks aren’t asking too much of him. The fill-in starter got things going with a perfectly placed 82-yard touchdown pass to WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba to cap the first drive. He linked up with Smith-Njigba for two more scores as the game progressed. At one point, Lock willingly took a hard hit as he stood tall against pressure before completing a pass to his No. 1 wide receiver along the sideline, which led to a successful field goal a few plays later. The Seahawks could get QB Sam Darnold (glute) back next week, but Lock warrants streaming QB1 consideration against the Commanders if he remains the starter.

Marcus Mariota completed 11-of-16 passes for 111 yards and one touchdown in the Commanders’ 37-20, Week 2 loss to the Cowboys.

Mariota came on in relief of Jayden Daniels, who exited in the second quarter with a brutal elbow injury. Mariota came out slinging to start the second half and nearly had a 29-yard touchdown pass to Dyami Brown that was confirmed to be incomplete upon further review. Mariota did lead the Commanders on a touchdown drive midway through the fourth quarter when he connected with Stefon Diggs for a 20-yard touchdown that Diggs caught on a leaping play in the end zone. With Daniels likely set to miss some extended time, we would expect Mariota to be under center in Week 3 when the Commanders play host to the Seahawks. Mariota shouldn’t be trusted as anything more than a mid to low-end QB2 if he draws the start.
