Cleveland.com’s Mary Kay Cabot reports the Browns are “unlikely to bid” on Texas Tech QB Brendan Sorsby in the supplemental draft.

Most of the league-wide scuttlebutt on Sorsby as coaches get in front of microphones for the first time since it was announced he’ll try the supplemental draft has been negative or tepid. Todd Monken told reporters earlier in June that “I don’t think we’re in a position to want to go down that road,” when asked about Sorsby. Today, Aaron Glenn pretended he didn’t know what gambling was and Brian Schottenheimer said he has no opinion on Sorsby. We’ll see where he ends up, but it sure doesn’t look like it will be Cleveland.

Courtland Sutton caught 3-of-5 targets for 45 yards in the Broncos’ Week 7 win over the Cardinals.

Sutton’s 45 yards today were one shy of his season-high, which mostly speaks to how quiet the veteran wideout has been this year. He has only topped 25 yards twice and has just one touchdown to his name. Jaylen Waddle injured his chest late in this contest and could be out for Week 8. That would funnel a few more targets Sutton’s way, but it’s not like Waddle was putting up loads of counting stats that now shift to Sutton. Even if Waddle is out for Week 8 versus the Chiefs, Sutton would have a hard time pushing past the WR4 ranks.
Maye reaffirms status as top-three fantasy QB
With another strong outing under his belt against the Bears, Drake Maye has re-established his status among fantasy's top quarterbacks.

Konata Mumpfield caught 1-of-2 targets for 15 yards in the Rams’ Week 7 win against the Raiders.

Mumpfield saw a bump in snaps and routes but not so much in actual targets and receptions as the Rams went all in on three tight ends sets with Davante Adams (hamstring) sidelined for the foreseeable future. Mumpfield doesn’t need to be rostered in fantasy leagues for now.

Jonah Coleman rushed nine times for 54 yards in the Broncos’ Week 7 win over the Cardinals, adding two catches for 15 yards.

Coleman returned to action after missing a month because of an ankle injury. He was immediately in the mix for touches and saw three opportunities before RJ Harvey got his first look. Coleman went on to lead the Broncos in carries. Both he and Harvey earned two targets apiece. Unfortunately for Coleman, he was the only Denver back who didn’t find the end zone in Week 7. Coleman has made a mess of a backfield that had just begun to stabilize. Now all three Denver backs will be low-end FLEX options for Week 8 versus the Chiefs.

Tyler Allgeier rushed eight times for 19 yards in the Cardinals’ Week 7 loss to the Broncos, adding three catches for 30 yards.

Allgeier only saw one more carry than Bam Knight. Both backs caught three passes, but Knight was the recipient of five targets. Through two Jeremiyah Love absences, Allgeier has 26 carries for 57 yards. He’s barely playing ahead of Knight and has been the far less efficient member of the backfield. Knight has 128 yards on four fewer attempts. Even if Love is out again next week, Allgeier will barely crack the RB3 ranks versus Dallas.

Brock Bowers caught 6-of-8 targets for 73 yards in the Raiders’ Week 7 loss against the Rams.

Bowers seemed to be battling some sort of minor injury for most of the game, missing a few high leverage plays while staying loose on the sideline. Bowers was second on the team in targets behind Tre Tucker (12), who did most of his damage in garbage time. Bowers, who has at least nine targets in every game this season, has as high a weekly floor as any tight end in recent memory. Hopefully he’ll be able to explore some of his upside in Week 8 against the Jets.

Bam Knight rushed seven times for 48 yards in the Cardinals’ Week 7 loss to the Broncos, adding three catches for 15 yards.

Knight only saw one fewer carry than Tyler Allgeier. His 29-yard scamper in the first quarter alone was enough to best Allgeier’s mark of 19 yards. Knight had a chance to get in the end zone on a strike from Jacoby Brissett, but he dropped the would-be touchdown and Arizona had to settle for a field goal. It’s unclear if Jeremiyah Love will be back next week. If he isn’t, Knight will once again operate as the 1B in this backfield, putting him in the RB3/4 mix versus Dallas.

Jacoby Brissett completed 27-of-48 passes for 272 yards and a touchdown in the Cardinals’ 30-16, Week 7 loss to the Broncos.

Brissett struggled to get the deep ball going in this game and was largely stuck dinking and dunking his way down the field. He averaged a measly 5.7 yards per attempt while completing 56.3 percent of his passes. Brissett hasn’t averaged seven yards per attempt in a game since Week 1. Even worse is the fact that he’s taking bone-crushing hits more than ever. Brissett injured his non-throwing hand while taking a sack late in the second quarter but never missed any time with the issue. We expect him to make an appearance on the injury report this week. Head coach Mike LaFleur told reporters after the game that Brissett remains the starter, meaning he’ll take on a terrible Dallas defense next week. He will be a priority streamer for Week 8.

Kendrick Bourne caught 3-of-6 targets for nine yards in the Cardinals’ Week 7 loss to the Broncos.

Bourne and Jalen Brooks each saw six targets, though neither was awfully productive. Brooks weny for 35 yards but only caught one pass. Bourne brought down half of his targets at a dreadful 1.5 yards per target. Bourne will hold a slight edge in the Week 8 rankings when Arizona takes on Dallas, but neither Arizona WR2 will be more than a desparation FLEX play.

Michael Wilson caught 4-of-8 targets for 55 yards in the Cardinals’ Week 7 loss to the Broncos.

Jacoby Brissett once again tried to get Wilson going downfield, but the best he could muster was 16 yards on their longest connection. Without a long play to juice the box score, Wilson was held under 10 PPR points for the third week in a row. All three of those games have been on the heels of the Marvin Harrison Jr. trade. The target totals have held steady, but the production is lacking. The good news for Wilson is that he gets the Cowboys in Week 8. Facing one of the league’s worst pass defenses, Wilson will stick in the WR2 ranks next week.

Trey McBride caught 10-of-13 targets for 111 yards and a touchdown in the Cardinals’ Week 7 loss to the Broncos.

The Cardinals couldn’t get much going on offense, but that’s not a problem for McBride. He accounted for 27 percent of the team’s targets and was the only Cardinal to find the end zone on the day. McBride did so on a seven-yard strike from Brissett in the third quarter. Despite posting weekly TE1 numbers, this is McBride’s first 100-yard outing of the season. Facing a laughable Dallas defense next week, McBride will likely clock in as the TE1 overall in the weekly rankings.
