The 2019 champ claims his sixth top 10 at the Schwab in 16 visits, first since the win, and bags his second top 10 of the season in 12 events, joining a prior-best T9 at the WGC-Match Play in Austin five starts ago. For the week, he posted laps of 67-71-68-69, tallied one eagle and 13 birdies against eight bogeys and a double, and ranked 67th SG: Off-the-Tee (-3.879), 1st SG: Approach (7.822), 9th SG: Around (3.167), and 32nd SG: Putting (3.167), including a 1.227 SGP on Sunday. The 38-year-old, who is not in the published field at this coming week’s Memorial Tournament, lost strokes OTT in every round, -0.470 in R4 on four (of 14) fairways, but gained strokes on approach in all four rounds, 2.091 in R4, where he outpaced three bogey-5s with two birdies and an opening eagle-3 from 16'1".
