Tosti arrived in great form but those results came on the Korn Ferry circuit. He saw a bump in field strength this week but still delivered the goods. “I’ve been playing really good for a long time and I’m very happy that a good round showed up in good timing.” He was 8th or better today in strokes gained off-the-tee, approach, and putting. Tosti racked up 16 birdies and a trio of eagles this week, including two big birds today. This will be his new personal best on the PGA TOUR and also earns him a spot in next week’s Wells Fargo Championship field, which also happens to be a designated event. His career trajectory could really make a turn for the better if he keeps this momentum rolling another week.

That will give him some chances to play on the Korn Ferry Tour this season. His lone PGA TOUR start came earlier this year at the Puerto Rico Open where he missed the cut.
